3. Missoula Children’s Theatre Auditions at Sherman County School, March 12

The Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Aladdin” is scheduled for the week of Monday, March 12th through Saturday March 17th in the cafeteria at Sherman County School.

The auditions will be held on Monday, March 12th at 3:30 in the cafeteria at Sherman County School. There are roles for students in Kindergarten through 12th grades.  Approximately 50-64 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Director. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session.  There will be no buses to take them home after the audition or the rehearsals. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15-30 minutes after the audition.

This is a group audition – no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time!

Rehearsals will be conducted Monday – Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 for session 1 and 6:00 to 8:00 for session 2 at SCS in the cafeteria. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4½ hours of rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch, dinner or snack.

The performances will be held on Friday, March 16th at 7:00pm and Saturday, March 17th at 3:00 pm and will be presented at SCS.  The students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performance that day. All those cast must be available for all scheduled performances.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana.  This coming year more than 65,000 cast members across the globe will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their families, friends, community, neighbors and teachers!

5. Beliefs in the Every Day

How would you like a quick and easy way to look at your belief system? Just one warning: What you see may surprise you.

These messages talk a lot about belief systems and how they affect what we are and what we do in life. Research has shown that there is nothing more important than beliefs, expectations and attitudes, when it comes to determining what happens to us in life.

Okay, back to the quick and easy way to see what your belief system is like. If you want to see your belief system, take a look at your life, because the things that you believe about life are right there in front of you. Your beliefs – your thoughts – get played out every day, in your conversations, your actions, and your interactions.

Do you believe that we live in a world where there just isn’t enough of everything you need? If so, then you won’t see what you need in front of you. Or, do you believe you are worthy of love and abundance? If so, then you are surrounded by people you love and you have more than enough of everything you need. Do you believe that no matter what life sends our way we can make something good of it? If so, then the evidence of that goodness will be all around you.

And, finally, if you want to change the way your life looks, don’t start tinkering with your environment. Instead, start with the beliefs inside your head, and your environment will change accordingly. Remember, we are taking the negative and turning it to the positive this month.

As you can see, there is nothing magical about it. This is simply the way the world works. And it does so, because that’s how your mind works – and it works this way for pretty much everyone, all the time. But, go ahead and be skeptical. Don’t take our word for it. Give it a try and prove it to yourself. ~The Pacific Institute
