3. Letter to the Editor: School Day Thefts

pencil.sharpI am very troubled by many thefts at school this year out of my granddaughter’s locker which they can’t lock. Mr. Blevins has been told and nothing has ever come of it. She had headphones (pink) that her best friend had gifted her, $30.00 from the candy bar sale that her mother had to replace, her IPod, 2 Giant bags of Jolly Ranchers and yesterday…$60 of cookie dough order money that she had taken to turn into the band teacher. Her phone had also been stolen but magically appeared in her locker the next day. This thieving is totally out of hand and needs to be brought to the attention of parents (you think they would notice when their children acquire things that they never bought for them), the entire staff at the school and finally the police. I am angry that someone has gotten away with being a thief over and over and I hope that finally something will be done. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

One extremely angry grandmother in Rufus
